Terms of Service

TswanaPlay is provided for personal and recreational use.

You may use guest play, private rooms, live board mode, tournaments, and other features that may be made available from time to time.

You must use TswanaPlay fairly and must not intentionally interfere with the experience of other players.

You must not:

• cheat, exploit bugs, or manipulate matches, rankings, tournaments, or leaderboards;
• use bots, scripts, automation, or abusive requests to interact with the service;
• attempt to access another player's account, match, private room, or restricted system;
• deliberately disconnect, disrupt, or interfere with matches;
• impersonate another person;
• attempt to bypass security or technical restrictions;
• use TswanaPlay for unlawful, abusive, threatening, or harmful activity.

We may remove players from matches, tournaments, leaderboards, or the platform where we reasonably believe these rules have been violated.

Some parts of TswanaPlay may be available without an account.

Guest sessions may be temporary. If a guest session ends, expires, disconnects, or encounters a technical problem, the match or associated temporary data may be lost.

Where accounts are available, you are responsible for keeping your login information secure and for activity performed through your account.

TswanaPlay relies on internet connectivity and third-party infrastructure.

Matches may be interrupted because of connection problems, server issues, maintenance, software bugs, or circumstances outside our control.

We do not guarantee that every match will finish successfully or that the service will always be available without interruption.

TswanaPlay may host or support tournaments.

Additional tournament rules may apply to individual events, including eligibility requirements, registration limits, qualification rounds, match schedules, disqualification rules, prizes, and broadcasting arrangements.

By entering a tournament, you agree to follow both these Terms and the rules published for that tournament.

TswanaPlay may remove or disqualify participants for cheating, abuse, manipulation, failure to attend scheduled matches, or other violations of tournament rules.

Some matches may allow spectators or authorised broadcasters.

Tournament matches or selected matches may be shown through livestreams, recordings, social media, or promotional material.

Where player usernames or display names are visible during these matches, they may also appear in those broadcasts or recordings.

The TswanaPlay name, branding, interface, software, graphics, and other original platform content belong to TswanaPlay or its respective licensors.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit TswanaPlay or its content without permission, except where allowed by law.

Traditional games such as Mhele themselves are not claimed as the property of TswanaPlay.

TswanaPlay may display advertisements, sponsorships, promotional banners, or links to third-party services.

A sponsor's presence on TswanaPlay does not necessarily mean that TswanaPlay endorses every product or service offered by that sponsor.

Third-party websites and services operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

Your use of TswanaPlay is also subject to our Privacy Policy. We aim to collect only the information necessary to operate the service, improve gameplay, maintain security, and provide features such as accounts or tournaments where applicable.

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to TswanaPlay where necessary to protect players, enforce these Terms, investigate abuse, maintain security, or protect the service.

We may also remove abandoned games, inactive sessions, fraudulent registrations, or abusive content.

TswanaPlay is an evolving platform.

Features, game modes, tournaments, rankings, availability, or other parts of the service may be added, changed, suspended, or removed.

We may also update these Terms from time to time. When significant changes are made, the updated date at the top of this page will change.

TswanaPlay is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

Although we try to keep the platform reliable and secure, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, permanent preservation of match data, or compatibility with every device or connection.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TswanaPlay and its operators will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses resulting from the use of, inability to use, or interruption of the service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Botswana, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
